With the reissue of the Mexican X-Series, the traditional American manufacturer presents the Martin 000-X2E in compact form that is perfectly suited for bluegrass, blues and fingerstyle guitarists. The body features a solid Sitka spruce top, which in combination with the lightweight HPL (High Pressure Laminated) body with mahogany look can produce a very powerful and clear sound. In contrast to the previous series, the guitars of the X-Series are now manufactured with a solid neck made of Select Hardwood and a fretboard made of Select Hardwood, offering the player great playability across all 20 frets. The Performing Artist neck profile in combination with the 632 mm scale length and the 44.45 mm nut width contributes perfectly to the overall comfort. In order to prepare the guitar for on-stage use, the guitar is equipped with an easy-to-use Fishman MX pickup system that reproduces the acoustic sound very naturally. A new Martin Soft Gig Bag is included.
