The Shure RK100PK is a Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) rejecting preamplifier for all Shure MX series microphones.
The Shure RK100PK features radio frequency interference properties that reject radio noise due to nearby transmitters, powerful 2-way radios, grounding issues, etc. The preamplifier features a standard 3-pin XLR output connector. An external phantom power source is still required to power the MX series microphones.
