The Field Kit Solenoid from Koma Elektronik is a magnetic push/pull motor for use with the Field Kit interface. It can be used to elicit sounds from objects by striking them. The Field Kit's DC interface gives you the ability to rhythmically drive the magnet and control its intensity. For example, you could rhythmically strike a glass bottle and feed the resulting sound into the Field Kit or a DAW using a microphone.
