The Action Series from DAS Audio offers the exceptionally high audio quality and robust design that has made DAS Audio so successful. Developed from experience, it offers outstanding performance, maximum reliability and practicality, as well as features unique in its class, such as ISOflex PU paint and PowerCon power connector.

The DAS Audio ACTION-512A is a 2-way active speaker with extremely versatile applications. From fixed installations to the popular portable PA application for band, DJ and theatre. The rotatable horn with a dispersion of 90° x 60° allows the cabinet to be used horizontally in a fixed installation, as a stage monitor or even as front fill.

Features and operation

The ACTION-512A offers exceptional quality in its class, both acoustically and in terms of finish and features. The integrated, convection-cooled Class-D bi-amp power amplifier delivers 1000 W/peak and is controlled by a 24-bit DSP that offers a variety of additional functions such as 3 voicing presets, high-pass filter, Delay (max. 10m) or standby mode and is very easy to operate through DAScontrol™ with LCD display and encoder.

The DAS Audio loudspeaker components from own development and manufacturing consist of a 12MI4 12" woofer with 2,5" VCD and a M34 1" driver with titanium cone and 1,4" VCD acting on a rotatable 90°x60° tweeter horn.

With two separately adjustable mic/line inputs with combo jack, an additional 3.5mm aux input and PowerCon power connector, the ACTION series offers universal and professional connectivity.

High-quality housing

The high-quality housing is made of birch plywood, coated with the robust ISO-flex PU lacquer and has, in addition to various M10 flying points, a beveled back for use as a floor monitor. Two 35mm flanges are available for tripod mounting with 0° and -10°.

Warranty extension to 5 years

DAS Audio offers a free warranty extension to 5 years for active loudspeakers or passive sound systems that consist exclusively of DAS Audio products (loudspeakers, amplifiers, controllers) and provided that the product and customer meet the conditions described by DAS Audio.
