Naturally, the V4 version of the modeling amplifier offers the usual multi-faceted overview of the most popular electric guitar amp sounds and effects, while improved deep editing options and the new CabRig cabinet simulator make the Blackstar ID:Core V4 ideally equipped for modern applications.

Classic amp sounds from Clean to overdrive

As the perfect balance between ease of use and tonal diversity, the Blackstar ID:Core V4 offers six selectable voices that skillfully cover the full spectrum of the electric guitar. The Clean Warm and Clean Bright modes ideally reproduce undistorted sounds with different characters and are ideal for articulative jazz, country and blues sounds. The 'Crunch' and 'Super Crunch' modes, on the other hand, offer classic tube breakup for light distortion with a deep character. Those who enjoy the high-gain range of hard rock and metal will be delighted with the two overdrive modes OD1 and OD2.

CabRig Lite Cabinet Simulator & Architect Software

For absolute control over the outgoing sound when recording and playing through headphones, Blackstar offers the CabRig Lite Cabinet Simulator, a particularly comprehensive tool. The software enables precise adjustments to the simulated speaker cabinet and provides further options in terms of microphone placement and the equipment used. In addition, the Architect software, which can also be used, offers additional setting options to adapt the sound of the ID:Core V4 to any sonic requirements.

Patented Infinite Shape feature

The patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) is not only a trademark, but also a key sound-shaping element of numerous Blackstar amplifiers. This ingenious technology makes it possible to create a seamless transition between US and British amplifier voicings, so that all sounds of the Blackstar ID:Core V4 experience additional tonal diversity. The operation here is relatively simple via a single control and works so well that it replaces the classic EQ of a conventional amplifier.

Super-wide stereo sound

As the amplifiers of the ID:Core series in V4 design are built in Stereo , they offer an amazingly differentiated sound image despite their compact size, which is able to skillfully reproduce every detail of the individual playing style. Two 6.5" Blackstar loudspeakers are used for this purpose, which were specially designed for the amplifier models in the series and create a particularly wide stereo space. Room-filling effects such as the integrated delay and reverb sounds of the Blackstar ID:Core V4 are particularly beneficial here.
