Despite its minimal size, the TONEX Plug is packed with powerful features. It offers storage for 30 user defined presets, organised into three banks with ten memory slots each, closely following the operating concept of the TONEX Pedal and TONEX One. All parameters can be controlled intuitively via the dedicated mobile app, which also allows you to browse and transfer more than 30,000 free Tone Models from Tone.NET. In addition, hundreds of premium models inspired by legendary amplifiers and effects are available. The app provides full control over the noise gate, compressor, EQ and three flexible effects blocks. On board effects include five reverbs consisting of Spring 1, Spring 2, Spring 3, Room and Plate, two delays in Digital and Tape versions, and five modulation effects including Chorus, Tremolo, Phaser, Flanger and Rotary. The result is a fully featured effects setup that can be tailored to any playing style or genre.

Beyond its role as a headphone amplifier, the TONEX Plug also functions as a practical USB audio interface. It allows guitar tracks to be recorded directly to a PC, Mac or smartphone, making it ideal for mobile songwriting or home recording. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the TONEX Plug can connect wirelessly to the app and stream audio directly, which is perfect for playing along with backing tracks or warming up before gigs. An integrated tuner completes the feature set, while the robust and practical design is built to withstand everyday use. Also included is the TONEX SE software for Mac and PC, which offers AI supported amp and pedal modelling, allowing you to create your own Tone Models and transfer them directly to the TONEX Plug.
