While classic tonewoods form the heart of the satin-finished E-Bass guitar, Delano Pickups and an active EQ promise enormous freedom in shaping the perfect Bass sound. The five-piece neck of the Classic TM is bolted to the ash body six times.

Classic woods in a modern design

The Classic TM from Sandberg combines classic tonewoods and a modern design to create a comfortably playable E-Bass with first-class sound characteristics. With its elongated upper horn, the ash body promises optimum balance on the strap, while its generous contours hug the player. The flat C-profile of the six-piece bolt-on maple-mahogany neck also promises agile and smooth grooving between the 24 frets of the maple fingerboard.

Delano pickups and an active 2-band EQ make the Sandberg Classic an all-rounder for almost any genre.

Delano pickups for versatile sounds

On the bass amplifier, the Classic TM Bass from Sandberg impresses with excellent timbres that make it a modern all-rounder for almost any genre. While the Delano MCFE humbucker in the bridge position produces a powerful tone with enormous punch in the mids, the JMVC pickup in the middle position produces a powerful yet detailed sound with an abysmal low end and brilliant highs. In addition to the blend control for infinitely variable mixing of the pickup signals, the E-Bass features an active 2-band tone control for precise adjustment of the Bass sound. If desired, the split switch elicits first-class single-coil sounds from the humbucker and thus expands the tonal repertoire of the Bass guitar.

Encapsulated Sandberg die-cast machine heads guarantee precise and stable tuning.

First-class Sandberg hardware

Last but not least, the Classic TM4 PF Black Satin comes with first-class Sandberg hardware, which guarantees unrestricted reliability of the E-Bass even under tough touring conditions. With three-dimensionally adjustable string saddles, the solidly built Sandberg Bridge 4 allows precise adjustment of intonation as well as string position and spacing. Oil-mounted and encapsulated Sandberg die-cast machine heads also ensure precise and stable Tuning of the 5-string Bass guitar.
