The TC Electronic SCF Gold Special Edition Chorus/Flanger at a glance

With the TC Stereo Chorus, the Danish effects manufacturer brings back a true piece of the company's legacy: Originally introduced in 1976, this combination effect was quickly embraced used by numerous guitarists shortly after its introduction and had a lasting impact on the prevailing Clean-Sound of the 1980s. The successful blend of chorus, flanger and pitch modulation in the Gold version offers the same user friendly controls as the original. The Speed knob sets the sweep speed, while the Width knob adjusts the modulation's width. The Intensity Knob serves different functions for each mode: it controls the signal proportion of the Dry/Wet mix in Chorus mode, the strength of the comb filter in Flanger mode or the balance between Chorus and Vibrato in the Pitch modulation setting. As expected from TC Electronic, this pedal offers quiet operation and includes an additional output for creating true stereo effects.
