Precise & intuitive control

The APC Mini features nine faders for adjusting volume, panning, inserting effect sends and more. Control the parameters of your session, reverbs, filter sweeps and automation with greater precision and bring your music to life. Naturally, you can assign the faders as you wish to create your own unique workflow.

64 dynamic RGB pads

AKAI uses new backlit pads on the APC Mini for brilliant and precise output of your Ableton Live session clips. A total of 64 are available here and can be used effortlessly for loops, instruments, vocals and more. Plus, the scrolling, RGB-enabled pad matrix is a real eye-catcher in any setup!

Device & Drum Mode

Thanks to Device Mode, APC faders are automatically assigned to the eight macro controls of the Ableton Live selected device. Easily control multiple parameters with just one fader to create absolutely innovative sounds. The Soft keys also give you, even more, control, for quick access to solo, mute, stop and record features.

The Drum mode offers seamless integration with Ableton's Drum rack. A 4x4 quadrant is isolated, and Ableton can be controlled while the other pads remain assignable. The result: an ultra-customizable pad layout for your own creative performances.

Smart Scale View Mode

Smart Scale View mode gives you real-time visual feedback while allowing you to change keys and scales instantly. In this mode, the selected key is also visible on the pads, and you can see which scale you are in.

Note Mode also offers a new performance workflow, allowing you to play music in Ableton at the perfect pitch without hitting the wrong notes.
