Perfect for beat producers and live performers, the Nektar ARUBA MIDI pad controller focuses on flexibility and fast workflow. Nektar delivers a device for all popular DAWs such as Cubase, Bitwig, GarageBand, Logic, Nuendo, Reason etc. and thus for a wide range of music creators - no matter what genre. On board are 16 velocity and pressure-sensitive RGB LED pads, eight robust endless encoders, six mode buttons, a TFT colour display with four soft buttons, eight "Nectarine" buttons for direct access to patches, mixer, pad setup, plugins and much much more! And in combination with the included Nektarine 2.0 software, ARUBA becomes an all-rounder for plugin control - no matter if it's VST, VST3 or AU software.
For example, it is possible to host up to 16 different instrument plug-ins simultaneously, so that each of the Nektar ARUBA MIDI pad controllers can be assigned to its own plug-in. The individual assignments of the pads are saved as part of your DAW project/song or a Nektarine multi-patch and can be recalled naturally.
Furthermore, Plugin Mode offers instant control over the parameters of hosted VST plug-ins. Pitch, deca or level parameters are important program properties that require quick access when programming drum sounds - the Nektarine software simplifies the process by automatically mapping the relevant parameters to ARUBA's eight knobs based on the last triggered pad.
Added to this is the onboard pad repeat function, which makes creating dynamic rolls and flams a breeze. Thanks to features like repeat rate, gate, accent interval, acent, velocity offset, swing, trigger mode and Clock source, plug-ins and hardware devices can be played expressively - or in Studio or on stage.
