Tascam presents the Tascam MM-4D/IN X , an excellent analog to Dante converter that can convert up to four microphone/line signals into four Dante output signals. In addition, the converter can accept four Dante audio channels, allowing any audio source within an existing Dante network to be processed. The input-side sampling rate converters support resolutions up to 96 kHz / 24 bit and thus meet the high standards of the pro audio industry. Various DSP features such as mixer faders, sound processing, dynamic processing, automatic level control, auto-ducking routing, noise compensation or muting of inputs and outputs are also included.
As part of the "Dante Compact Processor Series" from Tascam is suitable for Dante/AES67 networks , making it suitable for public facilities, broadcast stations, recording studios or exclusive residential environments, while additional inputs and outputs for microphone/line or AES/EBU signals can be added and combined as desired.

Also included are two different software applications for MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android , with which it can be remote controlled MM-4D/IN . Both the DCP Connect software for configuration and the EZ Connect app for end users are easy to use. In addition, all Dante Compact Processor Series models can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or an optional AC adapter. If two units are mounted side by side in a rack, it is possible to loop the power supply through to the second unit so that only one AC adapter is required.
