The Strymon Sunset Dual Overdrive is a 2-channel overdrive guitar effects pedal featuring an analogue class-A JFET gain stage, six overdrive types, and Level, Drive and Tone controls per channel. The Sunset is custom voiced for satisfying control over desirable tones through six circuit types found throughout iconic overdrive and boost pedals across the ages (Ge, Texas, Treble, 2stage, Hard & JFET). They have been combined into a single two-channel unit, meaning that the Sunset is technically two customisable overdrive pedals, independently selectable and flexibly routable.

The knob ranges for each circuit type are custom calibrated to provide maximal usable control. The Sunset utilises an all-analogue JFET gain stage coupled with custom-voiced, precision-crafted DSP algorithms to capture and reproduce the unique nuances and character of each circuit type. Sunset's input features an ultra-low noise, discrete, class-A JFET circuit providing up to 20dB of pure analogue gain. The JFET stage provides quality touch sensitivity and dynamic interaction with your guitar, whilst the powerful SHARC DSP facilitates a huge level of detailed complexity and responsiveness.
