Based on an analogue FET circuit with three gain stages, the Plexi Crunch delivers a searing distortion that provides the perfect foundation for rock and metal sounds with tight lows, assertive mids, and just the right amount of bite in the highs. While the Preamp knob controls the amount of distortion, the Active Tone knob lets you precisely adjust the tonal character of the midrange. The Presence knob also helps tame overly prominent high frequencies.
