Based on the original from the mid-1930s, the Gibson J-35 Faded 30's comes with the outfit typical of the era. Thus, the round-shoulder construction consists of a Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body, which combine to produce a clear yet warm vintage sound. At the same time, the round mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard inspires with excellent playability in all 20 frets, which are marked with high-quality mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The 44 mm wide bone nut and fitted saddle promise clean intonation throughout the 628 mm scale. The characteristic headstock is equipped with open Grover tuners, which help to tune the 6 steel strings easily and precisely. The bright top wood is surrounded by a filigree multi-ply binding that perfectly matches the single ring soundhole rosette. Adjacent to the soundhole is a large-scale tiger-striped pickguard positioned to give the guitar an individual appearance. The instrument is refined by the ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. To ensure that the Round-Shoulder can also be used on stage without any problems, a high-quality pickup system from L.R. Baggs is built into the body, which has a control in the sound hole. The scope of delivery includes a sturdy hardshell case.
