IK Multimedia takes the iRig Pro Duo to the next level with the I/O version, an improved, ultra-compact two-channel audio/MIDI interface for iPhones, iPads, Android devices, and Macs and PCs. Tweaks include mic preamps with increased gain, grippier gain controls with ergonomic design, and volume controls with level meters, while the chassis now features a new road-ready rubberized finish.

In general, the iRig Pro Duo I/O offers recording and playback capabilities on two channels each up to 24 bit and 48 kHz. A practical feature here is the power supply, which can be provided either via the connected device, two included AA batteries or via an optional mains adapter, ensuring true, uncompromising mobility. On board are two combo j acks for microphone and line signals, but also Hi-Z (high impedance) signals, if you want to connect electric guitars or basses directly. naturally, the phantom power for condenser microphones must not be missing.

On the output side, the interface has a pair of 6.3mm jack sockets for balanced signal transmission as well as a separately adjustable headphone output. A direct monitor switch is included for latency-free monitoring of the input signal, while a loopback function is available for use with video or streaming applications.
Included are a Lightning, USB-A and USB-C cable to get you started with any mobile device or computer. A MIDI in/out adapter cable is also included, allowing you to connect external MIDI peripherals.
