The Fender Quantum HD 2 is a modern audio interface designed for anyone seeking clean, professional recordings, intuitive operation, and robust performance at home or in a project studio. Two high-quality microphone preamps, a fast USB-C connection, and a sophisticated monitor section make it a reliable tool for songwriting, recording, and mixing.

Clear sound from the first note

At the heart of the interface are two digitally controlled microphone preamps with up to 75 dB of gain. This allows you to use dynamic microphones, quiet ribbons, or sensitive condensers with ease. Noise levels remain low even at high gain. Guitars and basses can be recorded directly via the front instrument inputs without the need for an external DI box.

32-bit conversion and sampling rates up to 192 kHz ensure that transients are reproduced faithfully and that there is ample headroom for dynamic performances. The result is a transparent, natural sound that is easy to process.

Direct control without detours

The front panel features a large color display with a clear level meter and status information. The central encoder performs several tasks: Volume, gain, navigation through menus. This quickly feels familiar and works even when the mouse is on pause.

The auto-gain function is particularly practical in everyday use. Press a button, play or sing briefly, and the interface adjusts the input level appropriately. No guesswork, no clipping on the first take.

Monitoring that thinks for itself

The Quantum HD 2 provides a balanced monitor output and a headphone output. Monitoring is low-latency and precise, whether recording or editing. The included software allows flexible adjustment of routing, levels, and headphone mixes.

Optical ADAT inputs and outputs are also included, allowing the interface to be expanded with additional channels without reconfiguring your setup.

MIDI, S/PDIF and space for external gear

The Quantum HD 2 isn't limited to microphones and guitars it's ideal for hybrid setups. The DB-9 connection on the rear provides full MIDI in and out ports, making it easy to connect synthesizers, drum machines, or master keyboards without an extra interface. Timing remains stable even in complex sessions.

An S/PDIF input and output are also available via the DB-9 connection, perfect for integrating external converters, digital effects, or additional preamps without going analog.

For studio, laptop and mobile setups

Thanks to class-compliant operation, the Quantum HD 2 works not only on computers, but also on tablets and smartphones. Ideal for mobile recording, song sketches on the go or small live setups. The robust USB-C connection ensures reliable data transfer and low latency.
