The 8331AM monitor is Genelec an extremely compact 3-way monitor that is ideally suited for use in post-production and broadcast applications due to its small dimensions. The coaxial system provides an ideal point source with an absolutely linear, discoloration-free frequency response for reliable evaluation of mixes and fatigue-free listening. The large sound guide ensures a wide listening zone and excellent stereo imaging. Two oval woofers provide optimum directivity down to the lower frequency ranges. The speaker can be operated horizontally or vertically. The die-cast aluminium housing is robust and extremely low in resonance. The rounded edges of the housing prevent sound discoloration. A protective circuit prevents damage if the playback levels are too high.

Individual room adaptation

Interfering room influences can be significantly reduced by using DSP filters or a specific measurement with the GLM2 measuring microphone / software. The IsoPod foot included in delivery decouples the loudspeaker from the ground. In addition, the loudspeaker can be tilted and precisely aligned to the listening position.
