The TASCAM IF-DA64 is a powerful Dante interface card that takes professional audio infrastructure to the next Level level. Designed for use with devices such as the DA-6400 / DA-6400dp multitrack recorders, it provides a high performance solution for studio, broadcast or live applications where maximum channel count and absolute reliability are critical.
High-performance Dante integration with up to 64 channels
With the IF-DA64, integration into modern audio networks is child's play. Up to 64 inputs and outputs at 44.1 or 48 kHz can be implemented via the standardized Dante protocol . At higher sampling rates of 88.2 or 96 kHz, 32 inputs and Outputs are still available, which means that high-resolution audio productions are also supported without any problems.
Thanks to the RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet connection (1000BASE-T), fast, robust and low-latency signal transmission is guaranteed. The use of Cat 5e cables or higher ensures that even large amounts of data are transported reliably.
Redundancy for maximum operational reliability
Reliability is a must in professional audio setups - and this is precisely where the IF-DA64 impresses with its sophisticated primary/secondary redundancy architecture. Two separate network ports ensure that if one connection fails, the second automatically takes over - without interrupting ongoing operation.
Future-proof technology and maximum compatibility
The IF-DA64 is not just an extension, but a central element of modern Dante-based audio workflows. In addition to seamless integration into the TASCAM expansion slots of Sonicview consoles and DA recorders, it is also compatible with key industry standards. These include AES67 for network interoperability and SMPTE ST 2110-30, which plays a central role in the broadcast sector in particular.
