The Sontronics DrumPack consists of a total of five condenser microphones that are ideal for miking drum sets. The DM-1B Bassdrum Microphone

If you are looking for a mic with bass precision, you can't do anything wrong with the DM-1B: after three years of development of the set, which also involved experienced producers and well-known drummers, the DM-1B shines with its large diaphragm capsule, which has a full 140 dB sound pressure level. With the integrated PAD switch, the SPL number even increases to 155 dB, so that even particularly loud playing styles on the drum kit can be recorded without any problems. Of course, the microphone - very elegant by the way - is also suitable for other bass-stressed instruments such as brass instruments, double basses and organs. Thanks to the special suspension, it is also easier for the user to adjust the angle of the kidney.

DM-1S & DM-1T for Snare and Toms

The DM-1T Tom Mics and the DM-1S snare microphone are very similar, but the frequency range has been adjusted to better emphasize the character of the instrument. Both models have a cardioid characteristic and capture the punch and sound in high resolution, so you won't miss a single detail in a studio/recording situation. The limit sound pressure is 135 dB with activated pad (10 dB). And although the two Sontronics models have been optimized for snare and tom, they also cut a good figure with Cajons, Djembes or Congas etc..
