Retro flair and modern performance

The CAD Audio A77 in black is a dynamic large diaphragm microphone with a retro look, which is based on the design and sound of the legendary "Elvis microphone" - the Shure 55S. As the CAD Audio A77 is a dynamic microphone, it does not require 48V phantom power to operate. As with the Shure 55S, the sound conversion is based on the induction principle, in which a conductor moves in a magnetic field. Only the diaphragm and the magnet have been updated. The TrueFlex™ diaphragm of the A77 microphone ensures a nuanced response and the PowerGap™ high gauss magnet ensures a powerful signal. It is also designed to handle very high sound pressures, making it suitable for use with drums or loud brass instruments as well as speech and percussion. In terms of sound, the microphone delivers a sound with vintage charm, similar to the Shure 55S. To ensure that the microphone has a secure stand, it can be bolted onto a stand using the 5/8 inch thread on the underside. The connection for the three-pin XLR cable is also located behind the thread.
