      The Shure Beta 52A is a high output dynamic microphone with a frequency response specifically optimized for maximum bass drum punch and for miking other low frequency instruments. It offers superior response, excellent punch, and delivers studio quality even at extreme volume levels. In addition to high feedback immunity, the Beta 52A's supercardioid pickup pattern ensures maximum isolation of the sound source and effectively prevents ambient noise. The adjustable stand adapter with integrated XLR connector simplifies positioning of the microphone, especially when used inside the bass drum. At the same time, the locking stand adapter keeps the Beta 52A securely in place even when subjected to hard hits and strong vibrations. The hardened steel basket provides protection from the rigors of rough everyday stage use.
