Audio-Technica AE 5400 at a glance

Audio-Technica's AE 5400 is a condenser vocal microphone that uses the same condenser element as the AT4050 studio microphone. The polar pattern cardioid large diaphragm element delivers accurate, natural reproduction. With built-in 80 Hz HPF and 10 dB pad, the microphone can be perfectly matched to the voice.

The steel housing and multi-layer internal windscreen make the AE5400 stable and robust. With exceptionally low hand noise and its protection from hiss and pop sounds, the AE5400 is an excellent live microphone. The double-sided PCB with excellent grounding reliably avoids interference and noise. Each microphone comes with an AT8470 Quiet-Flex™ stand clamp, a 5/8"-27 to 3/8"-16 thread adapter, and a soft protective carrying case.
