The Audix OMX-E (E = extended / wide recording range) is specially designed for singers who use the microphone at various distances.

Thanks to its cardioid polar pattern, it offers targeted sound pickup while minimising unwanted background noise and feedback - ideal for live use and studio applications.

The extended frequency range of 55 Hz to 17 kHz ensures natural and detailed sound reproduction, while the innovative VLM (Very Low Mass) capsule technology stands for exceptional precision in speech and vocal performance. With a maximum sound pressure level of over 144 dB, the OMX-E is ideally equipped even for powerful voices and loud stage environments.

The robust housing made of die-cast zinc alloy with a black coating not only gives the microphone an elegant appearance, but also makes it highly resistant to the rigors of everyday stage use. The steel grille basket with a flat front protects the sensitive capsule and makes it easier to position in front of the mouth.

With an impedance of 290 ohms and a sensitivity of 1.6 mVrms/Pa, the OMX-E impresses with its efficient signal processing. Despite its solid design, it remains pleasantly handy with a weight of 297 g and a length of 179 mm.
