With the Fender Player II Stratocaster, the successful model that has been celebrated for seven decades is making its way into the Player II series. The electric guitar from Fender Ensenada Factory in Mexico naturally offers everything that makes a well-groomed Stratocaster: multi-faceted sound options, outstanding playability and the iconic Strat look in numerous refreshing colour options. Furthermore, the Fender Player II Stratocaster with its hardware equipment in the form of a synchronized 2-point Tremolo and Fender ClassicGear tuners proves outstanding functionality and absolute suitability for the road.
Thanks to the authentic body shape, the Fender Player II Stratocaster MN Aged Cherry Burst naturally reproduces the incomparably ergonomic Strat playing feel and offers a particularly comfortable rest for the right arm, while the 'tummy cut' on the back hugs the player's body seamlessly both when standing and sitting. The maple neck in a slim modern 'C' profile has a smooth satin finish on the back of the neck for unhindered changes of position, while 22 medium jumbo frets in a modern 9.5" radius are provided on the front.
As a classic Strat, the Fender Player II Stratocaster MN Aged Cherry Burst offers the full Strat spectrum of potential sounds and presents itself as an absolute all-rounder that is at home in almost any genre. To achieve this, the electric guitar from the Player II series uses three Fender Player Series Alnico V single coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions, which produce crystal-clear highs and lively mids and open up a wide dynamic range. The three single coils can be combined with each other in the classic manner via the five switching positions of the blade switch.
