The Ormsby Elite 2 Hype 6 Karelian Birch from the limited run is due to its multiscale construction, as well as the Custom Hardware and pickup equipment a flawless electric guitar for hard rock and metal, which covers both visually and sonically any requirements of those genres. The body of the Ormsby Hype 6 is made from a solid piece of mahogany wood in a high-gloss finish, with generous cutaways making even the high registers of the 24 frets easily accessible.

Construction and tonewoods

For the selection of the tonewoods of the Multiscale electric guitar of the Australian manufacturer was paid attention to tonal clarity, as well as visually expressive grains. The neck is composed ofa 5-ply blend of maple, padauk, and wenge, and its 'D' profile provides ideal conditions for any movements on the birdseye maple fingerboard, on which 24 stainless steel frets in fanned-fret format are distributed. Thus, the multi-scale electric guitar delivers hot, modern metal sounds with tight low end and crystal clear highs. A 3-way switch, as well as a volume and Coil-Split push/pull tone control can be used to elicit further tonal flexibility from the Hype 6.
