FiFo shift register from Xaoc Devices

XAOC Devices describes Rostock as a data pipeline within the Leibniz subsystem. The module works as a FIFO shift register (first in-first out) or as a very short digital delay. The length can be set variably from 1 to 64 steps, and looping and scrambling can be activated manually by pushbutton or via Gate if required. Rostock processes bit data from Leibniz subsystems, which are exchanged at the rear with another module in the series via a ribbon cable. Rostock can process data sequences that represent rhythms, control voltages, audio signals and even video signals, as the bits can change at extreme rates of up to 2 MHz.
