Doepfer A-180-9 Multicore is a connection module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module is always used in pairs. It is used to connect up to 14 control or audio signals between two or more separate Eurorack systems. The upper network connector is connected to the 8 jacks 1-8, the lower one to the 6 jacks A-F. In this way, each individual system can be pre-patched. All signals to be forwarded from one system to another, such as master clock, start, stop or master CV, are then connected via the module pair A-180-9 with only one or two network cables. There is also a split option: 8 signals from system 1 to system 2 and 6 signals from system 1 to system 3.
