The A-111-5v Mini Synthesizer Voice Vintage Edition by Doepfer combines everything an analog synthesizer needs. Thanks to the AS3394 clone chip it was possible to revive the classic Eurorack Voice module. Equipped with a powerful oscillator that delivers triangle, sawtooth & square (with PWM), a gripping 24dB Lowpass filter, ADSR envelope with three speed steps, VCA and two LFOs everything is on board that is needed for leads and bass sounds, but also leaves a lot of room for experimental sounds. Since the frequency range of the LFOs reaches up to 5000 Hertz, oscillator/filter FM and AM on the VCA are also possible. On the connection side each main function is addressed with its own CV voltage or Gate , additionally there is an audio input to feed in a noise generator. Besides the audio output LFO1 and the envelope are output as control voltage. Various basic settings of the Doepfer A-111-5v Mini Synthesizer Voice Vintage Edition are configurable via Jumper on the back, CV and Gate are also accepted via system bus.
The two videos show the desktop version of the Dark Energy 1v, which sounds like the A-111-5 module.
