Erica Synths Black Polivoks VCF v2 is a filter module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module is an authentic reproduction of the VCF from Formanta Polivoks, a cult synthesizer from the former Soviet Union. In the Erica Synths Black Polivoks VCF v2 the original Russian ICs were used, but several updates were done in the rest of the circuit. The module now has independent buffered inputs, an advanced cutoff control, the clicks when switching filter modes have been eliminated and there is an additional output stage to eliminate signal inversion. This creates massive bass sounds and soft sweeps.

The Erica Synths Black Series is a range of high-end modules for the Eurorack format. Only the highest quality components are used in the modules and all inputs and outputs are protected against unwanted overvoltage. Design and user-friendliness were preferred to an economical module width. Together, all modules of the Black Series make a complete modular synthesizer.
