EoWave 1U Germaniac at a glance

The 1U Germaniac from EoWave is a compact VCA with a coloring character in Intellijel 1U format. Unlike other audio VCAs, this discrete single VCA is not designed for clean signals, which is due to the special properties of the germanium transistors used. Germanium transistors stand for pure vintage sound. As the level increases, the signal gains more and more overtones and, above all, saturation. Anyone who likes primal analog sounds with a certain bite will love this VCA. The WARMTH control adjusts the degree of distortion, which can also be modulated via a control voltage input with its own attenuator. The output level also has its own CV input with attenuator.
