The bass reflex design features a front slot port, efficiently enhancing low-end performance, allowing for flexible placement within the s tudio environment . To further support adaptability, a set of DIP switches on the rear panel enables users to tailor the monitor's response to different room acoustics. This is particularly useful when the speakers are positioned close to walls or used in rooms that are not optimally treated.

Another practical feature is the front-mounted LED display, which not only indicates the monitor's operational status, but also acts as an alignment reference to position the speakers optimally at ear level. The cabinet is made of robust, vinyl-coated MDF, which minimizes resonance and ensures structural stability. With its compact dimensions and a weight of around 7.9 kg, the FX80 V2 can be easily integrated into various studio setups, including Dolby Atmos configurations.
