The KSD C100 Reference is an active coaxial monitor that meets the highest demands in both Studio and hi-fi applications. With its 10-inch coaxial chassis and 1-inch compression horn, it offers precise and spatial sound dispersion with an aperture angle of 70 degrees. Its frequency response ranges from 35 Hz to 22,000 Hz and its maximum sound pressure level is 118 dB. It has two power amplifiers, each with 250 watts, which work according to the Class D principle and have a high efficiency and low heat generation, making wall installation possible.
The special feature of this monitor is its FIRTEC filter technology, which uses a digital chip (DSP) to correct the acoustic errors of the loudspeaker system. This minimizes overshoots, resonances, phase shifts and sound wave refractions and enables a linear and distortion-free output. The monitor can also be adapted to the room and set-up conditions via an optional remote control by adjusting six freely parametric EQs, filters, high and low shelving, Delay and gain.
This is exclusively for the left speaker, which has an analog three-pin XLR input and a digital AES3 input. The digital input is specially designed for signals from the left side. The monitor can be set up both horizontally and vertically. Table stands and a wall mount kit are optionally available.
