With this reissue of the Mexican X-Series, the traditional American manufacturer presents the Martin 00-X2E electro acoustic guitar featuring a compact design that is perfect for bluegrass, blues and fingerstyle guitarists. It is made of a solid Sitka spruce top and a lightweight HPL body with a mahogany look, which in combination can produce a very powerful and clear sound. In contrast to the previous series, the guitars of the X-Series are now manufactured with a solid Select Hardwood neck and fretboard, offering the player excellent playability over all 20 frets. The Performing Artist neck profile in combination with the 632 mm scale length and the 44.45 mm nut width contributes perfectly to this. To make the Martin 00-X2E electro-acoustic guitar ready for on-stage use, the manufacturer incorporates an easy-to-use Fishman MX pickup system that amplifies the acoustic sound in a very natural way.
