All cymbals of the Paiste 900 series are made of B8 bronze alloy, better known as 2002 bronze. The mixture in a ratio of 92% copper to 8% tin is known for a very warm, brilliant and expressive sound character. The machine-made 900 series cymbals are hammered and turned by hand by the experienced Paiste cymbal smiths, a real specialty in this price range.
