The Big Fat Snaredrum The Shining Chrome 14" is a practical pad for damping the snare head. Just put it on the existing head and a new sound is available. Consisting of a thin mylar film in chrome finish, the snare gets a crisper, darker sound and an extraordinary look.
The patented non-slip rubber pads are simply placed on the existing head and immediately change the sound of the drum from high or medium tuned to an authentic, warm retro sound that is deeper and more bulbous. The listener is immediately reminded of the sound of the seventies and eighties.
