Accurate Deesser Plugin
FabFilter's Pro-DS software plugin offers everything you need to tame sharp S-sounds and similar problems in the frequency spectrum. Presented in a simple and user-friendly interface, the Deesser delivers broadband or linear split-band processing, an optional Look Ahead of up to 15 ms, adjustable stereo linking with optional mid-only or side-only processing, and up to four times linear oversampling. FabFilter Pro-DS with its highly intelligent recognition algorithm "Single Vocal" accurately detects the sibilance of speech recordings and attenuates it transparently. In Allround mode, Pro-DS becomes a great tool for high-frequency limiting of any material, such as drums or even full mixes. Try it yourself!
Of course, you also get all the usual FabFilter goodies: perfectly tuned knobs, MIDI Learn, Smart Parameter Interpolation for smooth parameter transitions, an excellent help file with interactive help, SSE optimization and much more.
