iZotope 's Nectar 4 Standardmakes mixing, producing and designing vocals effortless. The fourth version of the popular software now provides Mac and PC users with many options for everyday studio work, allowing them to work efficiently and realize creative ideas quickly. In addition to the familiar features of the previous versions, Nectar 4 offers a host of new features and improvements: Use machine learning and dynamic EQ modes, create backup singer tracks from just one main vocal track and benefit from a large vocal chain that focuses on problematic recordings. All this and more combined in an appealing, intuitive User interface for an enjoyable workflow.

Audiolens referencing

Audiolens is compatible with Nectar 4 Standard and offers the tone-match function to recreate any Vocal sound. Separate the vocals from one of your reference tracks and get important sonic information to generate a starting point for your Mix .

Voices Module

With the help of the Voices module, you can easily create Vocal layers without any knowledge of harmony. Simply use presets as a basis and shape the sound to your liking.

Backer modules

With the A.I.-supported backer module, artificial backing vocalists can be created from Vocal stems to support the main voice and create a fuller-sounding Mix . Choose between a total of eight different styles or import your own acappellas to shape the sound even more specifically. (K.I. was only trained with English vocals)

Vocal Assistant

The Vocal Assistant is a practical tool for beginners or anyone who wants to see quick results even in stressful situations. The interface is designed to suggest helpful settings so that you don't get lost in the details of vocal mixing.

You also get the Celemony Melodyne 5 Essential version, and targeted pitch correction. This further optimizes the overall image of a vocal recording.
Nectar 4 comes with two special 24-band dynamic EQs designed specifically for vocals. They offer both corrective and creative options and impress with their clean operation. In addition, there is pitch tracking and the Follow EQ mode for dynamic processing of problematic frequencies. Bye bye manual editing of resonance frequencies!
