The deep, warm tone of Gretsch Formula Mahogany is complemented by a sharp attack and impressive dynamics, resulting in a balanced, rich sound. The triple-flanged hoops on the snare and toms ensure superior tuning stability and crisp, well-defined tones.

Gretsch Hardware for optimized resonance

The mini GTS tom suspension minimizes contact with the shell, maximizing the vibration freedom of the mahogany shells. The included tom holder integrates seamlessly into the stylish "gas cap" rosette and provides space for an optional cymbal arm next to the suspended tom. The Catalina Club Jazz comes equipped with durable Remo Ambassador heads, offering a stable and reliable sound right from the start.
