Industry-leading subwoofers

RCF's lightweight drivers offer impressive performance. To ensure maximum reliability and optimum interaction of all components, all transducers have been specially designed by RCF engineers in Italy. The novel design makes the 1.75-inch voice coil with polyimide capton dome ten times more stable than its predecessors, ensuring more accurate output and improved longevity.

The revised phase plug ensures a more transparent sound and less distortion. The special woofer design ensures that the system runs more stable under high load, less distortion and does not overheat as quickly.

Workhorse suitable for touring

The RCF SUB 8008-AS is suitable for a wide range of live sound applications. The durable multiplex enclosure is easy to transport, stackable, and easy to set up and take down thanks to its light weight, which is supported by the ergonomically shaped, rubberized handles on the side panels. Thanks to the M20 threaded flanges for spacer rods on the top and side, the subwoofer can be set up vertically or horizontally. The durable polyurea paint, powder-coated front grille and rugged enclosure withstand the rigors of frequent use and transport.

The separate power amp enclosure ensures efficient and reliable operation. Acoustic foam lamination on the inside of the front grille provides an additional barrier against dust and moisture. Since the subwoofer has bass reflex ports on the front, it can also be positioned in niches or recesses.
