Who is going to compress? De-essing according to the phase cancellation concept

The SPL DeEsser MkII works very unobtrusively and sound-neutral thanks to a unique technology. S frequencies are automatically recognized and reduced by phase reversal. This process is far superior to conventional compression methods, as adjacent frequency ranges are affected far less. De-essing has no negative impact on the timbre of the voice; even with intensive de-essing, there is no nasal or lisping sound impression. Operation is also extremely simple: thanks to the automatic threshold adjustment, which compensates for fluctuating distances between the speaker and the microphone, operation is limited to setting the control intensity.
