The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster (Olympic White) is a 6-string Electric Guitar which is considered to be the first signature Guitar ever in the Fender program and has been manufactured unchanged since the late 1980s with Eric's bespoke specifications.

Featuring a classic Alder body and one-piece Maple neck with "Soft V" profile, this model forms the basis to achieve Clapton's versatile blues sounds. Equipped with Fender Vintage Noiseless Single Coil pick-ups, combined with an active Mid-Boost and TBX Tone Control allow an expansiveness of tonal options. The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster uses 3x Fender Vintage Noiseless Single Coils - the use of classic Alnico magnets provide authentic single coil sounds with crystalline clarity and lively response, without unwanted background noise or humming. The pick-ups are managed by a 5-way blade switch and master volume & tone controls.

In addition, the Eric Clapton Strat is equipped with a particularly wide-ranging electronic system, with the help of which versatile blues sounds can be created:

• The middle "tone" potentiometer controls the intensity of the active mid boost. With a level boost of up to 25dB in the middle frequency range, the guitar amplifier can produce creamy lead sounds with increased assertiveness.
• The TBX Tone Control starts from the neutral centre position (marked with a detent), which lowers the treble when turning back, while the bass and treble can be emphasized when turning up.

Fender present the Eric Clapton Stratocaster with a classic Fender American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo, which, like Clapton's original, is fixed with a wooden block and thus enables a more direct tonal resonance to the body and neck.
