The bolt-on, five-piece neck made of wenge and purpleheart (amaranth) also fits the hand with its flat D-profile, so that every riff or solo comes off as if by magic. In the fretboard flank, fluorescent Luminlay side-dots also provide unobstructed navigation between the 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.

The sound conversion of the Duvell Elite 6 take over Mayones TKO by Bare Knuckle humbuckers, which were developed by the English pickup manufacturer specifically for Mayones guitars and the needs of contemporary rock and metal. While the neck pickup armed with Alnico-V magnets delivers a clean and open tone for multi-faceted clean sounds singing overdrive, the ceramic humbucker at the bridge convinces with a tight sound. Even at high gain and low tunings, every note is presented precisely and assertively. Thanks to the coil-split option, the Mayones Duvell delivers first-class single-coil sounds. A treble-bleed switch on the volume knob also preserves the highs when the volume is turned down.
