Dynaudio's Core 7 is a high-end two-way active monitor with digital inputs in AES3 format (AES/EBU) that can be used at 24-bit and 192 kHz. Each driver has its own dedicated Pascal Class-D amplifier - 500W for the 7" woofer and a 150W amp for the 1" tweeter - while a built-in DSP processor provides various positioning, sound balance and bass extension functions. Of course, all DSP functions are available to both digital and analog inputs. In general, the Core 7 was designed to offer the greatest possible flexibility in positioning. Thus, it can be positioned vertically, horizontally and even upside down.
The Core 7 monitor is a work tool for long days in the studio. It strikes a balance between clear and concise resolution without creating annoying overemphasis, or even softening things as if through a towel. In this way, Core 7 creates the basis for working without fatigue even during long sessions. It is characterized by a very good impulse fidelity and a balanced frequency response and enables a precise representation of the soundstage in width and depth.
