Flexible in sound and position

Dynaudio's Core 5 is a high-end two-way active monitor with digital inputs in AES3 format (AES/EBU) that can be used at 24 bit and 192 kHz. Each driver has its own dedicated Pascal Class-D amplifier - 280W for the 5" woofer and 280W for the 1" Tweeter - while a built-in DSP processor provides various functions for positioning, sound balance and Bass extension. Naturally, all DSP functions are available to both digital and analogue inputs. In general, the Core 5 has been designed to offer maximum positioning flexibility. It can be positioned vertically and horizontally.

A real workhorse

The Core 5 monitor is a working tool for long days in the studio. It strikes a balance between clear and concise resolution without creating annoying overemphasis or even softening things as if through a towel. Core 5 thus creates the basis for working without fatigue, even during long sessions. It is characterized by very good impulse fidelity and a balanced frequency image and enables a precise representation of the sound stage in width and depth. Thanks to its compact design, the Core 5 is also perfect for immersive audio installations.
