The Dynaudio LYD 5 BK is a compact nearfield monitor. Featuring low-volume precision, the LYD 5 is an ideal complement for any small studio set-up and uses the same lightweight aluminium voice-coils in handmade 5" MSP drivers as high-end hi-fi speakers.

Paired with cutting-edge Class-D amplification as well as a 24-bit/96kHz signal path with advanced DSP, this nearfield monitor offers a bass extension to extend or curtail the low end frequency response.

This monitor features a bi-amped design with 2x 50W power output. Two different tunings are available with one for free standing and one designed for speakers within 500mm of a wall. Sound balance is provided to influence the overall response of the speaker.
