Vocoder function

The epithet "Vocoder Edition" sums it up: a 16-band Vocoder including gooseneck microphone now adorns the Arturia MicroFreak Vocoder Edition. Especially for the Vocoder the sound generation was extended with sawtooth, square and noise to reproduce the classic vocoder sounds in the best possible way. With the controls Timbre and Shape the behaviour of the 16 frequency bands is adjusted. The possibilities go far beyond typical robot-speak. 16 new presets give an insight into what the MFVE is capable of. Because a three-voice chord oder a string sound, especially with the integration of the arpeggiator open up an undreamt-of range of sounds. The jack on the base of the gooseneck microphone is for the Kopfhörer . The headphone jack in the unit is a TRRS jack, as used on mobile phones and their headsets. The microphone is connected here, and an optionally available adapter can also be connected to make the audio input accessible. Connect a drum machine here, and the synthesized drums from "Members or Mayday - Sonic Empire" will find their way into your own music.
