The sound of the guitar is clear, balanced and finely resolved. The Grand Concert body shape produces a focused sound with a precise response, which shows its strengths particularly with fingerstyle and detailed playing. Even with light strumming, the sound remains controlled and transparent. Meanwhile, the solid top and laminated mahogany back and sides ensure a warm sound with present mids and a pleasant basic fullness.
Handy body and short scale length
The shortened scale length of 634 mm noticeably reduces the string tension and enables a particularly smooth playing feel that makes longer sessions pleasant and fatigue-free. Chords are played effortlessly and even more complex voicings can be performed with ease. With a generous nut width of 45 mm, this practical Grand Concert offers plenty of space for clean string separation and precise fingerstyle playing. Furthermore, the compensated saddle made of bone contributes to clean intonation and direct response.
Pickup with Preamp and tuner
The built-in Ibanez pickup in combination with the AEQ-TP2 preamp ensures reliable and flexible amplification for both live and recording applications.
