The modular system once developed by Robert "Bob" Moog, including its development process, went through a long production period between 1964 and 1981, when the new electronic instrument was a pioneering avant-garde work that still had to be explained to the public, but eventually found more and more interested parties. Behringer transferred the generously dimensioned decide to the compact Eurorack format and took great care to ensure that sound and function were in no way inferior to the cult object.

The Behringer 911A Dual Trigger Delay contains two delay units for gate output. The delay per channel ranges from 2 milliseconds to 10 seconds. When Coupling Mode is set to Off, each Trigger Delay works independently. The parallel mode routes a gate from channel 1 to channel 2, so two delays can be generated with one source. In serial mode, the upper unit is routed to the lower one, thus delays of up to 20 seconds can be implemented. In combination with a sequencer and two envelopes, the 911A creates very groovy variations of the played gates.
