Individual scale lengths for each string, increasing from 34" for the G to 36.25" for the E, also guarantee an extremely tight sound with precise tone reproduction even at low tunings. Three neodymium-armoured Dingwall FD-3N pickups, which can be called up in different combinations via a rotary switch, and an active EMG 3-band tone control, furthermore promise extremely flexible sounds for almost any genre. In addition to the swamp ash body, which is perfectly balanced both standing and sitting, with an elegant cloud maple top, Dingwall relies on a bolt-on, five-piece maple neck, whose pleasantly slim "Medium Thin C" profile allows every groove to come out of the fingers with ease.

Dingwall FD-3N neodymium pickups selectable via a rotary switch and an active EMG tone control provide versatile timbres.

Three pickups and active EQ for multi-faceted bass sounds

The Dingwall FD-3N pickups, which are equipped with powerful neodymium magnets, promise smooth bass sounds with a well-measured aggressiveness and punch, even in the densest Mix . A 4-way rotary switch calls up the three pickups in different combinations, so that the four-string offers both traditional and modern tones, which can be precisely adjusted to your own preferences using the active 3-band equalizer from EMG. Thanks to the mini switch above the pots, the electric bass guitar can also be played in classic passive mode.
