With the G&L Tribute L-2000 MN Blueburst, the tradition-steeped company from Fullerton, California sends a particularly versatile E-Bass into the race, which easily delivers the right tones for almost any musical style. Based on the L-2000 design first presented in 1980, the bass guitar comes with a comfortably designed poplar body with ash top and a comfortably playable "Medium C" maple neck. Two G&L MFD humbuckers and the sophisticated active Tri-Tone Preamp provide unprecedented tonal variety at the bass amplifier. Last but not least, G&L completes the Tribute L-2000 Bass with a solid saddle-lock bridge and classic open-back tuners.

The comfortable "Medium C" maple neck is six-bolted to the poplar body of the Tribute L-2000 bass.

In the construction of the Tribute L-2000 Bass , G&L relies on the design that has proven itself since 1980 and a classic choice of wood. While the poplar body hugs the player thanks to generous contours, the ash top provides the dignified look of the bass guitar. The six-piece maple neck in "Medium C" profile also promises buttery-smooth playing characteristics on the 21-fret maple fingerboard.

Powerful MFD humbuckers and the particularly flexible adjustable Tri-Tone system provide versatile bass sounds.

Flexible sound with MFD pickups and Tri-Tone System

For the pickup of the Tribute L-2000 E-Bass G&L chooses two Magnetic Field Design humbuckers (MFD), which due to their special construction provide a powerful yet differentiated sound with the perfect dose of warmth. To customize the tone, the electric bass guitar also comes with the innovative Tri-Tone system, which, in addition to the 3-way switch for pickup selection, not only has a mini-switch to switch between serial and parallel switching of the pickups, but also an active 3-band equalizer with treble boost setting. In addition, the 4-string Bass can be played in classic passive mode.

On the characteristically designed headstock, Traditional Open-Back tuners ensure accurate and stable tuning of the Tribute L-2000 bass.

Saddle-Lock Bridge and Open-Back Tuner

Of course, G&L completes the Tribute L-2000 MN Blueburst E-Bass with an optimally coordinated hardware equipment. The G&L Saddle-Lock bridge, equipped with lockable tailpieces and a protrusion anchored deep in the body, not only guarantees precise adjustment of intonation and string action, but also supports the lively tonal character of the electric bass.
